'Third Generation Single Action Army' Colt Custom Shop Sheriffs Model, a beautiful American made ejector-less short barreled single action revolver chambered in .45 Long Colt, manufactured circa 1984 in Hartford, CT. The 'Third Generation' Sheriff's Models were produced from 1980-1985. This pistol is number 37 of 46 from Colt's Custom Shop. Featuring a high polish blued finish, 3" barrel with two-line address on the top, blade front sight, notched frame rear sight, smooth curved thin trigger, two-toned hammer, checkered hammer spur, fluted six-shot cylinder, collard cylinder pin head, color-case hardened frame, smooth grip straps, and two-piece smooth genuine ivory grips with gold-colored Colt medallions. Frame is color-case hardened with the rest of the pistol having a blued finish. Revolver exhibits approximately 99% of it's original color-case finish showing nothing remarkable. The blued finish is also excellent. Action is smooth and crisp with a tight fit. The bore is bright with strong rifling, and the cylinder chambers are also excellent. ivory grips are excellent. Revolver includes the original factory cardboard wood grain box, paperwork, a congratulation letter, and end label.
